Pros & cons

What we liked

  • Exceptional clarity and timing for its price bracket
  • Setup is genuinely plug-and-play out of the box
  • Solid, inert plinth minimizes unwanted vibration
  • Compact footprint fits easily into small listening spaces
  • Widely regarded as an audiophile entry point that punches above its cost

What we didn’t

  • No built-in phono preamp, requires external phono stage
  • Non-adjustable tonearm limits future upgrade tinkering
  • Basic dust cover feels a bit flimsy
  • Only one cartridge option installed from factory
  • Lacks a speed selector switch, must swap belt manually for 45 RPM

Perfect first serious turntable

I upgraded from a cheap all-in-one player and the difference was night and day. Vocals sound so much more natural and the whole thing just works without fiddly adjustments.

Great sound, wish it had a preamp

Sound quality is fantastic for the price, but I didn't realize I'd need to buy a separate phono preamp until after I unboxed it. Once I did, it sang.

Simple and satisfying

No frills, just good vinyl playback. The dust cover feels a little cheap but the actual turntable performance has been rock solid for over a year now.

Rega quality shows

You can tell this was engineered by people who understand analog audio. Setup took ten minutes and it's been trouble-free since.
